A truely magical evening it was on Friday at the premier of Andy Morton’s La Bohéme-Handa.

After a gloomy week of relentless rain leading up to opening night, miraculously as the sun set on March 23rd, the sky cleared and the moon lit-up La Boheme’s floating Parisian stage. The spectacular setting floated above Sydney Harbour at the base of the iconic Fleet Steps at Mrs Macquarie Chair.

The opera was theatrical, colourful and hopelessly romantic. It is showing until Sunday 22nd April and it absolutely worth seeing… Even if you don’t traditionally like opera. Did I mention there’s fireworks and snow?
